Liv Lockwood is a queer Choreographer and Movement Director based in South London.

Her work spans stage, screen, and collaborations with fashion brands, moving fluidly between disciplines. Liv’s practice explores themes of honesty, primal instinct, archetypal imagery, identity, and community. An earthy, uninhibited physicality has become a signature of her work. Liv’s relationship with movement began in childhood where she grew up in Devon. She used dance as a way to fuel her imagination and step beyond her comfort zone; for Liv, movement has always been something sacred.

She later moved to London to train in contemporary dance, where she encountered more classical and codified forms of training than she had previously experienced. Alongside her studies, she began seeking out alternative spaces to practise and present work, quickly turning toward choreographing for stage and screen. Her practice developed through working across industries and genres, often pushing against institutional boundaries and rigid artistic frameworks.

Most recently she has worked with artists and brands including AURORA, WET LEG, The 1975, Gucci, Harman Kardon Aesop, MANGO, Peachy Den and CAHAYA. Her choreography has featured in music videos, commercials and fashion films, and has been performed on international stages, she visits London College of Fashion to lead workshops and has received commissions via Exim Dance Company, Roehampton University and Spindrift Dance Company.

Liv approaches collaboration with a holistic perspective, prioritising truth, intention, and physical dramaturgy. She is passionate about developing movement languages that empower individuals to deepen their sense of self and confidently explore their own instinct to move.
